Whilst I have accepted that I'm not going to have a body of a super slim model, I was thinking of wii fit products and wonder if any of you have experiences? Good bad or funny?
I have been enjoying london 2012 wii games, some I can get by (and loose) some like shooting and swimming AND 100 metres running I do well!

Something that looks good to take part at home.

Hi Jane - wii fit is good. Our wii is currently bust, but that was probably through overuse! Enjoy playing with your family - it's a good laugh. Sylvia xx

Yes we have a wii, good fun, balance board is cool too, pretending to ski downhill!
We love a tennis one that we can partner each other in doubles.
Have fun playing,
Mary

Hi - I don't normally come on here much but just wanted to say that the Wii Fit Plus has been my best tool for combatting RA to date. Well it could be something to do with the MTX and Hydroxy too I suppose but I prefer crediting the Wii because it doesn't make me feel sick or stop me from drinking the odd glass. I use the yoga, the muscle exercises, the aerobics and the balance stuff and also the Fit Plus specials such as being a fat bird trying to land on platforms or the cheer leader one. When I do some of the longer jogging or step aerobic ones I often switch it onto the tv to alleviate bordom. Now you can't do that in a gymn!

BigGrin Hello everyone, thank for replying.
I did some digging around for arthritis & wii on google. This was all positive as it is a form of exercise for arthritis people. I do feel sad and frustrated sometimes because of what I used to do before ra sprung into life.Scared
Instead now I try to find solutions and adapt to me if this makes sense?LOL

I thrusted my hubby ipad last nite at him to show the wii fit products on amazon.....so there is a wii fit in the basket (may not happen over nite, but success)! yepieeeLOL

Thank you Tilda to reply as your first post!

On the sports resort wii games I'm good at flying a plane now (very slow but not enough to burn calories)RollEyes LOL

Shall let you know when wii fit has been ordered and tried out.
Have a lovely day everyone

Wii fit

It's good but it says I'm unbalanced ...?!!!!

BigGrin

So I thought I'd try sitting on it, put it carefully on two yellow pages
No, it didn't break or say 'one at a time please!'

But then I couldn't get up off the thing
Was knackered after that
Had asleep and another mince pie
Considering complaining as appear to have kept all inches intending to loose

Hi Tilda - I love the flying thing too - I'm curled up with hysteria watching my uber-cool teenage kids flapping their wings and squatting as they come in to land - priceless! Sylvia
